Hadley will not say "go play," she says "go clay" and she will not say "please," she says "queeze." BUT, she will say the "P" sound in "Poppy" and "potty." Strange. The point I'm getting at is that when our previous nanny, the one from Memphis, came to visit, she quickly became "Pandy" instead of "Mandy." We had a grea visit with Pandy and honestly, even though it had been 6 months, Hadley truly remembered her. She instantly sat on her lap, read a book with her, and talked so excitedly with her! We were thrilled, as we all feared that 6 months might make her memories of her beloved nanny fade away! And we all know that she can be shy and cold sometimes if she is around someone new! (Her new thing is to say to the person "shy" during these moments!). Anyways, we had a great time catching up with Mandy, who now lives in Charlotte and will be starting nursing school. If only we could keep her here! We enjoyed lots of eating, driving around to look at Christmas lights, and of course, shopping. We can't wait for her next visit!
