Communication is improving again! In the past 2 weeks Hadley has started to string together words to make some short sentences- it's so exciting! I climbed up on a chair to change a light bulb and she looked up at me and pointed her finger saying, "Be careful, Mommy, careful!" First of all, it showed me how often I must say that to her, and secondly, it showed me she cared about me! She will say, "come here, show you!" and take our finger to lead us somewhere. She will tell us little stories sometimes...for example "Connor" (her cousin)..."hit" (swinging her hand)..."cry"..."sad"..."no no"!..."share!" Pretty self explanatory! She is also starting to sing some songs. Right now we get "twinkle twinkle star diamond" and "eeeiiieeeiiioooooo farmer!" But the ultimate favorite is "The Wheels on the Bus go Round and Round." She can sing almost the whole song thanks to her gramma (Lauren's mom) teaching her. The best is "babies go waaa waaa!" We are definitely having some trouble in the sharing department (hence the Connor story), but I guess that's not unusual. She is still pretending all the time. She'll go from making you coffee and telling you to taste it from her cup to taking her baby doll to the doctor to the doctor for a "feber and metsin" (a fever and medicine). It's amazing to watch her play and try to figure out what she is thinking. She's at a great age right now!
